Sales & Business Development Manager UK
We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager UK. Our partner is a brand new technology company within a globally active holding that aims at developing future-proof solutions for optimal fleet management in multiple domains.
This company offers cloud based solutions and the necessary hardware components to intelligently gather and enrich data of industrial equipment to streamline fleet management related processes.
To support their growth we are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager for the United Kingdom.

You will do active sales and business development, prospect new customers and develop new relationships, promoting our IoT solutions to stimulate and grow sales.

You will be the first point of contact for their clients.

You prepare and plan customer visits to i.e. mixed fleet rental companies and dealers.

You monitor the region to detect commercial opportunities and identify actions to monetise these opportunities.

You will keep up to date with industry trends.

You ensure proper quality of back-office work and you will maximize customer experience.

You initiate and maintain good contacts with existing and potential customers to build a network of relationships that contributes to reaching the sales objectives.

You will work independently, strongly collaborating with your sales colleagues and report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

You have a master’s degree or are equivalent in experience.

You have 10+ years’ proven experience in new business development and consultative sales in a B2B environment.

You are native English (written and spoken).

You feel comfortable cold calling prospects.

You have strong analytical skills, are well organized, result oriented and structured.

You are an autonomous self-starter who takes charge.

You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You area Tech-savy and have good computer and technical skills (MS Office, G-suite, CRM, mobile applications,…).

You live in the UK, can easily travel by train, plane or car and you’re happy to travel (+/- 3 days a week).
